
Juan Martinez
Juan Carlos Martinez is a New York–based producer, engineer, and musician, working as a Studio Assistant at Power Station. Born in Colombia and raised in the Dominican Republic, Juan began his academic path studying electronic engineering at INTEC and clarinet at the National Conservatory of Music in Santo Domingo before moving to the U.S. to pursue his passion for music. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Recording Arts and Clarinet Performance and a Master of Arts in Audio Sciences from the Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University, as well as a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from New York University.
In addition to his work at Power Station, Juan is the recording engineer and a performing member of the Association of Dominican Classical Artists (ADCA), and serves as a Livestream Mixing Engineer for Lincoln Center. As a clarinetist, he performs regularly across the city both with ADCA and as a freelancer.
Juan also creates and produces music under the name JuanCaDavis, focusing on Latin genres and urban styles like reggaetón, drawing from his cultural roots and modern influences.
