
Omisha Chaitanya:
Omisha Chaitanya's audio journey began the day she discovered how to use soft synths in Garageband at the age of 11. Born in Mumbai and raised in Jakarta, Singapore, and Johannesburg, she is an international artist-turned-engineer with a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Production and Sound Design from Berklee College of Music.
As a producer and orchestrator, Omisha has worked with artists such as Chloe Cook and Claire Cassady, as well as for the Club Chris Tour with Chris Olsen and Ryan Trainor. As a mixer, she works closely with mer marcum from Acrophase Records and Mia Lorelai. As a mastering engineer, she has worked with artists from a range of genres such as Lexi Vollero, Misuser, Jazzie Lock, and more.
Joining the studio in 2022, Omisha is currently the recording engineer for Inside Power Station, a TV series produced by the studio airing on NYC Media. As an assistant engineer at Power Station, she has also worked on soundtracks and film scores for Universal Pictures, Netflix, Focus Features, HBO, and Marvel including Wicked: Part I, Shirley, Honey Don’t!, Godfather of Harlem, and Madame Web. Her work includes a variety of Broadway cast album recordings such as Water For Elephants, The Great Gatsby, SMASH, Redwood, Gypsy, Real Women Have Curves, and Maybe Happy Endings. She has also worked on dialogue recordings for Pixar Animation Studios.
She loves working with artists in a range of genres, having worked with Julius Rodriguez, Laurie Anderson, The Jonas Brothers, Terri Lyne Carrington, Motswedi Modiba, and Living Color.
